The glorius spring campaign lasted from 2 April 1849 until 21 May where the Hungarian troops made an enourmous but not futile military success. The plan was to surround and have a final attack on the troops of the emperor.

We suggest using more means of transport. It is enjoyable to take the tour by bus, by car but it is even more spectacular to go by bicycle or ride the horse along the route.

The troops of the Glorious Spring Offensive are leaving for the battle of Boldog. Before this the spectators can watch a recruitment and the procession of horsemen. - Jászjákóhalma

Procession of the hussars with a brass band from the hunt house as far as Damjanich Square early in the afternoon. One of Lajos Aulich’s troops spent one night before the battle of Bicske on 3rd April.

The event continues in Jászberény late in the afternoon. These programs are the procession of the hussars in Lehel Vezér Square and a recruitment which are also parts of the Jászberény Town Day.

The Route can be visited on a certain date: 2nd and 3rd of April, which is the actual date of the Glorious Spring Offensive that took place then back in 1849.
