Subregional Coordination Network

The Subregional Coordination Network has been operating as a work organization since 1 March 2008 under the supervision of the National Development Agency on a government level and is managed by the North-Alföld (Plain) Regional Development Agency Kht on a regional level.

To fulfil its role as ’catalyst’ in Hungarian regional development, the Subregional Coordination Network must participate in various activities. It is involved in a comprehensive presentation of development programmes as well as in the finding of subregional development sources. It provides consultation opportunities for applicants and ensures that the Government’s regional politics is represented in the subregion. It gathers project proposals and follows the major subregional development projects in cooperation with the Local Regional Development Office.
